Summer Season of Work: Faith, Focus & Fruitfulness

As we welcome the warmth and brightness of summer, our spirit shifts into a sacred rhythm of effort, endurance, and intentional movement. In nature, summer is the time where the seeds planted in spring stretch upward toward the sun—growing strong, rooting deep, and maturing into fullness. And so must we.

Winter offered us rest—a time to retreat inward, reflect, and reset.
Spring prepared us—we planned, planted, and positioned ourselves for what’s next.
But now… now we step into the season of the work.

This is not just about physical hustle, but about spiritual alignment. The summer season calls us to get our hands dirty in our divine assignments. It’s the time to show up, push through, and trust the process. Just as farmers tend their fields in the heat, we must tend to our goals, our dreams, our purpose—even when we feel the burn.

We may grow weary. There may be days where the sun feels too hot, or the journey too long. But let us remember—the harvest only comes to those who don’t faint in the field.

It is our consistency, our prayers, our journaling, our rituals, our affirmations—our daily tending—that brings about the blessings we’re preparing to reap. Our spiritual practice is our water. Our ancestors are our wind. And our faith is the soil that holds us steady.

We are not just working—we are co-creating with the Divine.

So stay committed. Honor your fatigue, but don’t lose sight of the vision. Because everything you’re pressing through now is feeding the future version of you who will be dancing in the abundance of autumn.

A Prayer for the Season of Work

Divine Spirit, Source of Strength and Light,
Thank you for the sacred rest of winter that restored our souls.
Thank you for the fresh beginnings of spring that awakened our dreams.
And thank you for this powerful season of summer—
where we rise each day with purpose and grit,
where we sweat with sacred intention,
and where we walk boldly toward the goals planted in our hearts.

Give us the courage to keep going,
even when we feel overwhelmed.
Remind us that our efforts are not in vain,
and that every step forward waters the seeds of our destiny.

Surround us with your protection,
fuel us with your fire,
and guide us with your wisdom.

May our work be blessed.
May our goals come into fruition.
And may we not grow weary—for the harvest is on its way.

Asé. And so it is.

Hi, I’m Daisy — it’s so good to meet you! 🌻 I’ve arrived at this chapter in my life through a whole lot of trial, error, and yes… growth. My spiritual foundation was built on dual roots: I was raised in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, and I also had the unique blessing of attending a Spiritualist Church from a young age. I often say I got to experience the best of both worlds — and both traditions have deeply shaped the woman and the spiritual practitioner I am today. Now, I don’t call myself a psychic, but I’ve always had a sense — a knowing — that I was tuned into something deeper. I could feel things coming before they happened. Not lottery numbers (I wish!), but those vivid déjà vu moments and spiritual nudges that were just too clear to ignore. Over time, that connection began to deepen. During periods of stress or transition, I started meeting my ancestors in dreams — real conversations, real presence. My grandmother, my great-grandmother, my mom, even my Aunt CB — my Great Grandmother’s sister — have all shown up. Sometimes it’s just a warm visit. Other times, they come bearing wisdom from beyond. These women are my roots. My people. My Divine Team. After years of learning how to listen — really listen — to my guides and my higher self, I now stand grounded and confident in my ability to receive and interpret messages from the spirit world. Not just for myself, but for others, too.
