Here’s the truth: being a spiritual Black woman does not mean living above the human experience. If anything, it amplifies it — it sharpens it — it makes sure every choice vibrates with meaning and consequence. The more I grow spiritually, the more life challenges me to walk my talk and embody what I know.
Am I intuitive? Absolutely.
Does that make life easy? Hell no.
My intuition lets me see the roots of emotions and the unseen energy behind people’s actions. My empathic nature makes me patient — sometimes too patient. I don’t always cut off what no longer serves me the first time I see the red flags — because I see the potential, the soul, the struggle behind the mask. But life is teaching me boundaries. Life is teaching me discernment. Life is teaching me how to hold both compassion and clarity.
And through it all — I will share the lessons, the wins, the stumbles, and the triumphs here with you.

If some of what you read makes you say, “Oh sis, you should’ve known better” — that’s okay. Maybe you already mastered that chapter. We all get the lessons when we’re meant to. This is a space where we honor the full cycle of learning and healing.
However you landed here — whether by curiosity, by divine timing, or by accident — know that this space holds you with love.
My prayer is that you leave feeling more empowered, more whole, more connected — to your own spirit, your own wisdom, and your own magic.
Be patient with yourself. Your journey is sacred. Your growth is inevitable.

Meditation Corner
Meditation allows us the opportunity to clear our minds of worry and stress. In the quiet of Meditation is oftentimes when you are able to talk with your creator and actually hear what messages are being given to you.
In our fast paced world, sometimes we feel as though we are unable to relax and unwind long enough to decompress all of the stressors that impact us daily. Meditation doesn’t have to take a long time to be effective, you can start with just minutes of your day.
To begin meditating, you will want to choose a time and place in your day where you can sit in peace for just a few minutes.
- Start by sitting or lying in a comfortable position.
- Read through this list so you will be familiar with the process before you begin.
- Set a timer if you need to limit your meditation time.
- Close your eyes to aid in relaxation.
- Take a slow cleansing breath in through your nose. and breathe out through your mouth slowly.
- Feel the built-up stress in your body and muscles start to feel relaxed and loose.
- Don’t force yourself to think about anything in particular. If a thought comes into your mind, acknowledge it and let it pass through. It’s ok.
- Feel the sensations that are passing through your body. Can you feel your muscle stress minimizing? Do you feel as those you are sinking into the surface to which you are sitting/laying?
- Let you mind and body just be free and unrestricted.
- Are you seeing any colors? Shapes? It’s fine, let it come through and just be open to letting things flow through you without a definite answer or solution. You just want to take it in and feel it.
- After meditation, allow your mind to analyze how it felt during the process. You answer will be uniquely yours, not to be compared with anyone else’s experience.
- We will add on to this meditation exercise later.
