Everything that we experience in life is a lesson. Depending on how we manage our free will, it is either going to be a beneficial life lesson, or an experience on what not to do the next time.
And what we know for sure is that nothing is new upon the earth!Regardless of your personal religious beliefs, there are many stories and examples in historical religious books that can help us even in these advanced times. I invite you to join me in the reading and interpreting various religious books, topics, and ideas for increased clarity and understanding.
Because I was raised in the Christian faith, I am going to start with interpreting the Christian Holy Bible.
For reference, my spiritual journey involved alot of questions with the birth of Jesus, and the legitimacy of the virgin birth.
Although I absolutely believe in Yeshua, I also believe in Yemaya as being the Mother of Yeshua.
And in my hierarchy, instead of it being: The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. I instead understand the hierarchy to be: The Father, The Mother and The Son!!! Because if we were made in the image of God’s, that holy trinity completes the circle of life.
And yes, Yemaya and Yeshua are apart of two different belief structures, but when examined closely, the cross over seems rather blurred.
And I must add, that as being raised in the AME church, it was pretty difficult to digest that I was systematically tearing apart all of the religious teachings I had learned for the better part of my life. It never felt “right” to challenge what was drilled into me–the story of creation, Noah’s Ark, and the Virgin Mary. I have never questioned the crucifixion, because humans are mean and cancel culture did just start existing!
Anyway, my belief in Yemaya, let’s get into that.
One day during my afternoon meditation, I had a spiritual presence come to me. She said, “you are ready to learn, I am Mama Yemaya”. I IMMEDIATELY stopped meditating. I was like, hold the boat, I am not letting any craziness up in my space. I immediately started praying. I asked God to keep me from evil and darkness and prayed for direction.
I had Yeshua come to me and assure me that I was ok. He told me that it was time to learn. We talked all about Yemaya, and then I talked to Yemaya!!! Omg, that woman/spiritual Goddess is amazing!!!! Because I am a skeptical person by nature, I asked for some tangible proof–because I needed to be sure I wasn’t tripping. It is just not everyday that your life gets opened up to such greatness!!! The proof that I got was that Yemaya is actually the very well known Virgin Mary. I researched it, you should research it too! I will say, I had such a great meditation and conversation with Yeshua and Yemaya, that I started including her in my regular prayer and meditation. After all, it feels good knowing your Goddess Mother is a beautiful spirit such as Yemaya, and it’s even better that she looks like me too!
So, as I stated earlier, we are going to be examining historical references to further interpret religious and spiritual lessons while understanding that my reference of understanding is one of have God, our Father; Yemaya our Mother; and Yeshua their son.
