0 The holiday season is among us and it’s time to spread holiday cheer and gifts!!!!! It’s honestly my favorite time of year because it’s actually people other than myself out smiling and in a festive mood. FYI, I’m in a festive mood almost everyday of my life….mainly because I live in a fantastical world in my head….but that’s another story.
Anyway, so I have been looking at nice gifts to by my 10 year old daughter and I started leaning towards some Beats by Dre headphones. They were great price, and trendy (as far as I understood from the practices of my 13 yr old), so I figured I’d get her a pair for Christmas. I was feeling so happy about it, I figured I’d get me a pair too and we could be twinsies!
Well I’m getting in the car about to go make my purchases and get some other errands done, and what do I see crumpled up on the floor in the minivan…..her Walmart Cat ear headphones. Ugh!!!!!! I was like, well, I’ll just tell her to take better care of the $100.00 earphones. And then I came BACK INTO REALITY in the next moment and said, self…..if she didn’t take care of the $5.00 earphones, what makes you think she’ll take care of the $100.00 earphones?!?!?! She won’t.
Ok. New Earphones off of the Christmas list. Perfect, next idea brewing. 😁🤣
But in all seriousness, the lesson in this is sometimes God is waiting to bless you with things, but he is waiting for you to be mindful and take care of the things that you already have. Working on improving the skills you already have, relying on the resources you already have inside. Maybe your manifestation comes to pass when you allow yourself to grow into who you were meant to be.
In order for that manifestation to occur, you have to already envision yourself as that thing, or that of what you are asking. You have to own your own greatness, and understand that even if everybody around you is doing the same thing as you, that nobody does it like you, and that within itself is where the greatness is; where the “niche” is….Because I’m doing it….is the answer. 😉☺️
And so in any area of life where you are attempting to manifest? Do you deserve that manifestation? Do you deserve to have that prayer answered?
Relationships?
Have you figured out what “YOU” did wrong in your last relationship? Have you dealt with the “whys” with your own reactions to situations within the relationship? Have you sat and understood from the perspective of your partner in the relationship?
Job’s/Career
Have you updated your resume? Have you contacted your local Employment Networks (Full Employment Councils, Urban Leagues, Workforce Initiative Programs)? Have you started networking in circles for the career that you want?
Have you considered that you might need to work for yourself? Sidebar conversation– working for yourself is necessary ever when it’s not considered working for yourself.
Whenever we put momentum and energy to your prayers and manifestations, God works even harder for us!!! He be like, I see you…I see you…. 💥 blessing over here; 💥 💥 blessing over there….
And just to show you how I roll, because I’m God…..let me throw you this without you even asking!!! 💥💥💥💥
So as you sit in worry or panic about if your prayers, manifestations, and rituals are working. Reflect further and ask if there is something you have done or are currently doing to block your own blessings. Like my little baby, who was about to get some brand new head phones.
Think forgiveness.
Think personal accountability.
Think action.
Think growth.
